Job Description
A Quality Analyst(QA) or Software Tester is responsible for software development and deployment quality. The Quality Analyst’s job is to conduct automated and manual tests to ensure that the software developed by developers is suitable for the intended use.
The Software Tester is responsible for analyzing software and systems, identifying risks, and preventing software issues. Manual testing is essential to ensure that clients receive high-quality, error-free software and websites. Testing and evaluating new and current software to find bugs, malfunctions, and other user experience concerns is the job of a Quality Analyst (QA).
Skills & Experience:
The essential skills that a Quality Analyst(QA) or Software Tester requires are given below:
- 2+ years of experience using manual testing
- Analyzing users’ stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Provide timely solutions
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle
- Provide support and documentation required
Responsibilities and Duties
There are a variety of roles and responsibilities for a a Quality Analyst(QA) or Software Tester to Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved
