Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and proactive IT Support Engineer / IT Administrator to manage and support the organization’s complete IT infrastructure. The role requires hands-on responsibility for end-to-end IT operations, including systems, networks, servers, cloud platforms, and office IT assets. The candidate will act as the single point of contact for all IT-related support and administration.
Skills & Experience:
Key Responsibilities
IT Support & User Assistance:
- Provide first-level and second-level IT support to internal users
- Troubleshoot operating system issues on Windows, Linux, and macOS
- Handle daily IT support requests, incidents, and escalations
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
IT Infrastructure & Hardware Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals
- Perform hardware upgrades, system assembly, and new system installations
- Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets, licenses, and documentation
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, and escalations
Network & Connectivity Management:
- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity issues
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, and access points
- Ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity across the office
- Manage DNS configuration and domain management
Server, Hosting & Cloud Operations:
- Monitor VPS servers and cloud resources for uptime, disk usage, and performance
- Hands-on experience with VPS server management using cPanel and WHM
- Practical knowledge of Apache-based hosting environments
- Manage and support applications/websites built on WordPress, Node.js, and Laravel
- Support cloud operations across VPS, AWS, and Azure environments
- Assist with system backups and basic disaster recovery tasks
Email & Workspace Administration:
- Manage and support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace accounts
- Handle user onboarding, access permissions, email setup, and security controls
Security, Surveillance & Power Management:
- Monitor and maintain CCTV systems, ensuring proper functioning and recording
- Follow basic IT security practices and access control policies
- Monitor power supply, UPS, inverters, and backup systems
- Coordinate with electricians and vendors during power or infrastructure issues
New Joinee IT Setup:
- Provide end-to-end IT onboarding support for new employees
- System allocation, OS/software installation, email setup, and access configuration
Client & External Coordination:
- Occasionally interact with clients or external stakeholders for IT-related support
- Communicate clearly and professionally during issue resolution
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT Support / IT Administration
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration
- Hands-on experience with VPS servers (cPanel & WHM)
- Good understanding of networking, DNS, Wi-Fi, and hardware troubleshooting
- Experience supporting WordPress, Node.js, and Laravel environments
- Working knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms
- Experience with CCTV systems, power backups, and office IT infrastructure
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as a single-person IT support team
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in an IT / Software company environment
- Vendor and ISP management experience
- Basic understanding of IT security and compliance practices
